When we first built our innovation framework for customer management, the initial thinking on my part was on throughput - ideas, pilots, outcomes. All good things. But as I dug into the work, it became obvious that the hard part wasn’t generating ideas or running experiments. It builds trust because it shows we’re learning in the open, not pretending to have the answers. And it turns innovation from a string of one-offs into something repeatable.
