Hi, I’m Andy
A digital innovation leader, writer, and all-round technology enthusiast based in London.
I spend most of my time working across the Sky and NBCUniversal streaming family, shaping how millions of people experience customer support across NOW TV, Peacock, SkyShowtime, and Showmax.
My work sits at the intersection of technology, design, and human behaviour: translating messy problems into clearer experiences, and experimenting with new tools to make support faster, smarter, and more intuitive.
How I work
I’m energised by ideas - new products, emerging tech, unexpected solutions, and anything that moves the world forward in interesting ways.
I believe in learning by doing, breaking things safely, and building teams that aren’t afraid to try something uncomfortably new.
If I can sketch it, test it, break it, or improve it, I’m usually happiest.
What I write
This site is home to Working Theories - my ongoing exploration of practical innovation, experimentation, and making customer experience actually work. No theatre. No jargon. Just what’s useful.
I also write Commentary on news, culture, and politics when something hits hard enough to demand an opinion.
You’ll find everything in the Writing section.
What I build
Alongside my day job, I tinker with small experiments:
- Streamsight - an AI-powered prototype for searching insights
- East Village Hub - a community platform for my neighbourhood
- Dynasty League Roaster - a chaotic Sleeper-powered experiment
These are my learning grounds — places where ideas become something tangible.
More on the Projects page.
Outside of work
I’m usually gaming, buried in a book, exploring London, or tinkering with personal digital side-quests.
I keep a /now page updated with what I’m watching, reading, and generally up to.
